After an intense season filled with daring stunts, Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 finally crowned its winner on Sunday. Actor Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the champion, defeating strong contenders Krishna Shroff and Gashmeer Mahajani in the grand finale.
Karan’s final stunt was a jaw-dropping mix of water and air elements, featuring a thrilling helicopter challenge. His victory secured him not only the prestigious trophy but also a cash prize of ₹20 lakh and a brand-new Hyundai Creta.
The grand finale was nothing short of a star-studded event. Among the celebrity attendees were Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, promoting their upcoming movie Jigra, along with comedy stars from Laughter Chefs like Bharti Singh, Nia Sharma, and Kashmera Shah. The show was, as always, hosted by the charismatic Rohit Shetty and filmed in the beautiful backdrop of Romania.
Karan Veer Mehra expressed his joy in an interview, stating that the reality of his win had not fully sunk in yet. “I was hopeful of winning, but when my name was announced, I couldn’t believe it. Everything went quiet around me, and for a moment, I thought I might faint!” he told the press. He added, “It wouldn’t have been a great look if the winner fainted at the announcement!” he joked.
When asked if this victory would change his career, Karan said, “It’s too early to tell, but the offers I’m getting have definitely increased. Maybe I’ll even get a pay raise!”
Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 began airing on July 27, 2024, featuring 12 daring contestants, including popular names like Asim Riaz, Sumona Chakravarti, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shalin Bhanot, and many others. The show was broadcast on Colors TV and streamed on JioCinema.
